"I created this series with the intention of expressing qualities of movement and energy, initially as speed charcoal drawings on canvas. I added the intense colouring as I felt it showed the integration of the figures energy with her surroundings. I feel that this image shows the integration of figure with the forever swirling energies of the earth, and where the light shines brighter in the darkness."
